Statement Of Faith

1.       We believe the Bible to be inspired, the inerrant Word of God, and, when rightly interpreted by the Holy Spirit, to be the infallible rule of faith and practice.  (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)

2.       We believe in one God, manifesting Himself in three Persons as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Eph. 4:4-6)

3.       We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be the only Savior and Redeemer of all humanity, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. (Luke 1:35; 1 John 4:14)

4.       We believe Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures. (1 Cor. 15:3-4)

5.       We believe that Jesus, the Last Adam, reversed the curse of death imputed through the disobedience of the first Adam, thereby destroying the power of sin, death and the devil. (2 Cor. 15:22,45; Heb. 2:14; 2 Tim. 1:10)

6.       We believe there is only one way to God the Father, and it is only through Jesus Christ, His Son. He is the only way, truth and life! (John 14:6)

7.       We believe in personal regeneration, that one must be born again to see and enter the Kingdom of God. It is by God’s gift of grace that we are saved through faith and not according to our own works. (John 3:3; Eph. 2:8-9)

8.       We believe that once accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, one should follow with water baptism by immersion as a public confession of transformation.  (Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:3-4)

9.       We believe that divine healing for man’s spirit, mind, and body was provided for through the blood that Jesus shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sin. (1 Pet. 2:24; Jas. 5:14-16)

10.    We believe in observing often the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper which consists of the bread and wine, an expression of sharing in the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 11:23-26; 2 Pet. 1:4)

11.    We believe the experience of Holy Ghost Baptism is distinct from and subsequent to one’s initial new birth in Jesus Christ. We believe that the initial evidence of this Baptism is to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service. (Acts 1:5,8; Acts 2:4)

12.    We believe that one is sanctified (made holy) by Christ as we allow Him to cleanse us by reading His Word daily, being directed by His Spirit and empowered to live a holy life, separating ourselves from this present world system. (Eph. 5:26; 1 Cor. 6:11; 1 John 2:15)

13.    We believe that the fruit of the Spirit is the divine nature and character of the Lord Jesus Christ, and should manifest in every believer’s life. (Gal 5:22-23)

14.    We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are the supernatural ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every member of the Body of Christ can flow in them for the purpose of edification, exhortation, direction, instruction and correction. (1 Cor. 12:4-11)

15.    We believe in Spirit-filled prayer and intercession as we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us. (Rom. 8:26; Eph. 6:17-18)

16.    We believe in Spirit-filled praise and worship through music. This includes singing, playing musical instruments, clapping and raising our hands in adoration and honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Psa. 150; Col. 3:16)

17.    We believe that all authority centers in Jesus Christ and that He has delegated His jurisdiction into the home, the local church, and civil government. (Rom 13:1-7; Eph. 1:20-23)

18.    We believe in the full restoration of the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, given by Christ, to equip and build-up His body, the church, to come forth into maturity and the full stature of the Son of God. (Eph. 4:11-13)

19.    We believe in God-ruled local church government and order through apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons. (Eph. 4:11-13; 1 Tim. 3:1-13)

20.    We believe God’s holy saints, those who qualify to rule with Christ in His millennial kingdom in the earth, will execute His justice, judging the world to bring forth righteousness. (Luke 20:35-36; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 20:4; Jude 14-15)

21.    We believe that God who is the Judge of all the earth, will one day judge the great and the small according to their deeds. (Rom. 14:10; Rev. 20:12)
